Which fuel do I need?

Most domestic boilers take kerosene, but some run on gas oil. Check your tank for a sticker, or alternatively call your local depot if you are unsure.

How long will it take for my oil to arrive?

During the summer months our usual delivery window is 2-3 days.

In the winter months the window can increase to 2-3 weeks. During periods of snow and ice, delivery times can increase even further.

If you need your heating oil urgently, please let us know when you order. We will then endeavour to get your oil to you as quickly as possible.

How do I pay for fuel?

You can pay in a number of ways:

  • Via credit or debit card when ordering
  • Via direct debit with our Easy Payment Plan
  • Pay for the fuel on delivery

Do I have to be in for a delivery?

As long as we can access your tank, then we can make unattended deliveries.

All our tankers are metered, so we always leave you with a receipt giving the exact amount of fuel dispensed.

What should I do if there is a leak in my tank?

In the event of a leak we recommend that you contact your tank manufacturer immediately.

In the meantime, there are some simple steps you can take to try and prevent any substantial damage.

  • Rub the crack with soap which can act as a temporary fix for smaller cracks.
  • Products such as a clay based leak sealing putty (available from selected retailers) can also temporarily seal the crack/leak. You should then look to organise a tank replacement.
  • Finally, you should contact the 24-hour Environment Agency's UK Pollution Incident hotline on 0800 80 70 60.
